Details

The Latitude 64 Core Mid Range Driver is a user friendly disc that will be perfect for both amateurs and professional players. The flight is reliable and stable with very little fade in the end of the flight path. It has been very well received and mostly described as going as you throw it. Can be used to make both hyzer shots and long turnover drives.

Speed - Speed is the ability of the disc to cut through the air. Speed Ratings are listed from 1 to 13. Discs with high numbers are faster.

Glide - Glide describes the discs ability to maintain loft during flight. Discs with more glide are best for new players, and for producing maximum distance. Glide is rated from 1 to 7.

Turn - High Speed Turn is the tendency of a disc to turn over or bank to the right (for rhbh throws) during the initial part of the flight. A disc with a +1 rating is most resistant to turning over, while a -5 rating will turn the most.

Fade - Low Speed Fade is the discs tendency to hook left (for rhbh throws) at the end of the flight. Fade is rated from 0 to 5. A disc rated 0 will finish straightest, while a disc rated 5 will hook hard at the end of the flight.

About Gold:
Gold Line is Latitude 64's premium blend plastic. The start of the mix has been the same brand plastics used in Opto Line but they added a different polymer to give it better grip without losing the excellent durability of Opto Line.

About Opto:
Opto is made out of some of the world’s most durable plastics. It comes in a variety of beautiful transluscent colors. The Opto Line plastic has been developed to withstand severe punishment and extreme conditions better than other plastics.

About Opto Air:
Opto Air uses the same material as the durable Opto Line plastic. It is modified and the runs are done in a different way to achieve a stunning result of lighter weight discs that still has a layer of solid plastic at the tip and bottom of the rim to protect the alternated material that is mostly centered in the middle of the rim but also spread out slightly over the top of the discs to keep the weight distribution as close as possible to the Opto and Gold Line discs.

About Frost:
Frost Line is Latitude 64's newest addition to their high quality lines of plastic. They have worked hard to develop a plastic that feels good in the hand, has flexibility, durability, and maintains its shape in all conditions. Frost Line is very similar to their Opto Line, but with a higher flexibility and stickier grip. Creating a plastic that is flexible yet durable was a challenge that their mad scientists in Sweden have now conquered. Frost will maintain its shape in cold weather and doesn't melt in your hand on a sunny day.

About Zero Medium:
Zero Line is the soft grippy putter plastic used in our putters and approach discs. The plastic is chosen because of the good grip and feel. Zero Medium is right between Zero Soft and Zero Hard.

About Retro:
The mid 80s was a great time. Disc Golf had just come all the way up to Latitude 64 and we played all through the night in the midnight sun. Translucent discs were far from being invented and all discs were understable with today's standards. We remember those days with nostalgic feelings and wanted a plastic that would remind us of how it used to be. For a long time we have had requests that we should make discs that could be broken in more easily. Test after test after test led us to this new plastic blend that we have named Retro.

Wide Rim Driver - Wide rim drivers are the fastest of the Latitude 64 discs. Generally wide rim drivers will have a speed rating of 11 or higher. These discs may also be referred to as distance drivers.

Fairway Driver - Fairway Drivers are slower than a wide rim driver with speed ratings ranging between 5 and 9. Fairway drivers also tend to have a higher glide rating and are more stable with less turn and fade.

Mid Range Driver - Mid range drivers are slightly slower than the fairway drivers with a speed rating of 4 or 5. As a rule, mid range drivers are straight fliers with a turn rating of 0 or -1 with a higher glide rating of 4 or 5.

Putt and Approach - Putt and approach discs are slow fliers with a speed rating of 2 to 4. They are usually very straight fliers with a turn rating or 0 or -1 with very little fade at the end.
